2. Data Collection & Storage Architecture
Grammigo organizes and stores your information according to service needs: • Local Device Storage: Quiz progress, word statuses, and application preferences are stored locally on your device for offline learning. • Apple iCloud: When iCloud sync is enabled, study groups, mistake records, favorites, and custom words are stored in your personal Apple iCloud account and synchronized across your devices. • Cloud Database / Servers: When signed in with Apple, basic profile information and leaderboard metrics (such as score and level) are stored on our servers. • Performance & Analytics Data: Anonymous usage and diagnostic data may be collected via services such as Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and similar tools to measure performance and improve stability.
3. Subscriptions & Receipt Verification (RevenueCat)
To validate Grammigo Plus subscription entitlements, administer Family Sharing, and synchronize subscription state across your devices, we utilize RevenueCat receipt verification infrastructure. Grammigo never accesses or stores your credit card or financial details; all transactions are secured directly by Apple StoreKit.
4. Analytics & Performance Measurement
To measure performance, enhance stability, and optimize user experience across our app and web services, analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and similar diagnostic services may be utilized. Information collected via these services is aggregated and anonymous, used solely to evaluate and improve service quality.
5. Infrastructure & Service Providers
To ensure secure, reliable, and continuous service delivery, we rely on reputable cloud, server, and infrastructure providers. These service providers access data strictly to the extent necessary to perform their technical functions and are bound by appropriate confidentiality standards.
6. Advertising & Data Usage
Grammigo prioritizes user experience. Personal information is not shared with third parties for unauthorized commercial purposes, and user data is processed solely to operate, support, and enhance application features.
7. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Users may permanently delete their account and associated data at any time via the Profile screen in the application. Your data is retained only for as long as your account remains active and necessary to provide the service.
8. Children’s Privacy
Grammigo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age threshold under local law).
